The Women’s Committee of Masjid As-Saffat (WCMAS) is a group of Muslim women from Masjid As-Saffat and other Muslim communities in the state of Maryland. Founded in 1974, our mission is to provide opportunities for Muslim women to grow in Islam and propagate it as a way of life. We also endeavor to increase the public awareness and understanding of Islamic beliefs.
In keeping with our mission, WCMAS is a member of The Regional Network, a network of Muslim women’s organizations on the east coast whose goal is to pool knowledge and resources to benefit Muslim women and children and the greater Muslim Ummah.
